The spring training of the Bavarian Guild Association for Chimney Sweeps (LIV) at the Mühlbach Training and Continuing Education Center is a key event for the professional development of chimney sweeps. On April 10, 2025, Managing Director Rudolf Wabra led a workshop there on the topic of “Radon in Energy Consulting.”
– Radon in Energy Consulting: The topic of radon is significant in the context of energy consulting and energy-efficient renovation, as improved thermal insulation and airtight building envelopes can reduce air exchange and thus increase indoor radon concentrations.
– Mandatory Continuing Education: Participation in continuing education courses at the Mühlbach Training Center is mandatory for Bavarian chimney sweeps to ensure the future of the trade and to stay up to date with the latest technology.
– Mühlbach Training Center: The training and continuing education center in Mühlbach (near Dietfurt) is considered one of the most modern training facilities in the chimney sweep trade and is supported by the guilds of Upper Palatinate, Lower Franconia, and Upper Franconia.
